Recently, Lakers assistant coach and Slovenia national team assistant coach Greg Saint-Jean was interviewed by Basket News and talked about Doncic's offseason training.

He said: "I think it's still going on, and I feel like this summer isn't over yet. He will continue to get better. I think as he finds more form and rhythm in the game, we'll see him keep improving."

"He has a lot of training and is about to play five-on-five now. His game last week was his first five-on-five in a long time. So it's a step-by-step process. We'll continue to see him play more games and he's also preparing for the Lakers' new season as the tournament progresses,"

St. Jean said that improving endurance is one of Luca's goals in the upcoming season.

"I think he's been training hard all summer and doing a great job. We'll see what's going on. But the goal is clear, right, it's to keep improving and playing."

"He's a player who has been playing for a long time and has a heavy responsibility. So, as he continues to improve his physical condition, that's going to be crucial to him. But we're really proud of him, and he's doing a great job so far."
