Former NBA player Nick Young recently talked about Nets player Cameron Thomas on Arenas’ podcast “Gil’s Arena”. He believes that Thomas and Devin Booker are both selfish players.

"What's the difference between Thomas and Devin Booker? Both of these two independents love to shoot crazy shots - they scored 71 points without passing the ball. They only care about scoring. As a result, they still have a big contract. I don't understand what's going on. Shouldn't this be criticized? They just shoot blindly." Nick Young said.

Arenas couldn't help but interjected: "Who is more selfish between me and them?" Nick Young replied: "You!"

In response, Arenas said: "But I was 'selfishly' taking into account scoring, assists and rebounds. Doesn't my 'selfishness' seem very unique?"

This summer, Booker and the Suns reached a two-year, $145 million contract extension, and Thomas returned to the Nets with a qualifying offer of $6 million a year.

Booker averaged 25.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game last season; Thomas averaged 24 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game; Arenas averaged 20.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game in his NBA career.
