Recently, Bobby Marks, a well-known ESPN salary expert, wrote an article list of stars who can renew their contracts early this summer.

Marks said Suns star Devin Booker is eligible to renew his contract with the team in advance starting July 7, with the deadline being October 21. Although Booker's contract of over $220 million signed in 2022 will have three years to expire, he is eligible for two years ($150 million) this summer, with an average salary of $75 million, which will set a record for the NBA league history.

Book's existing contract will expire in 2028. His salary this season is $49.21 million, and his next three seasons will be $53.14 million, $57.08 million and $61.02 million respectively. The total contract amount in three years exceeds $170 million.

Marks' expectations are: "Given the importance of the Suns building a lineup around Booker, it is perfect to (provid) a two-year, $150 million early contract renewal."

According to previous reports, Booker does not want to leave the Suns, and he hopes to live his life in the team.

In the 2024-25 season, Booker played 75 regular season games for the Suns, averaging 25.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game, shooting percentage was 46.1%, three-point shooting percentage was 33.2%, and free throw shooting percentage was 89.4%.
