According to the Italian "La Stampa" report, Turin has conducted a preliminary test on Galatasaray striker Icardi and intends to waive his visa next summer.
Whether this deal can take place depends largely on the performance of Turin's current forwards, especially center Zapata's recovery from injury. However, Icardi may also join in January, provided that Galatasaray is willing to accept a small compensation to relieve the burden of his 6 million euros annual salary in advance.
Icardi himself prefers to return to Serie A, mainly because he wants to be closer to his daughters after breaking up with Wanda.
So far this season, Icardi has played 9 games for Galatasaray, scored 5 goals, and is worth 8 million euros.
