Casano expressed support for Inter Milan's new coach Zivo in his podcast.
Casano first said: "I know Zivo very well. He is a very good player. He is the No. 10 in the defender position. He can play fullback, three central defender or four-back formation and all. As a coach, he saved Parma in a difficult situation. And in the Club Cup this summer, he just coached Inter Milan, and the players were very nervous and could hardly stick to it, but that experience was a valuable experience for him."
Casano continued: "I now see a proactive team that actively presses in the game, rather than waiting for the opponent to attack, wanting to work hard to quickly regain the ball, and sometimes even take risks for it. Zivo is a sincere person who respects everyone in his own way. He is very modest, and in life."
Then Casano said: "Inter originally chose Fabregas. They wanted a coach who could try to change the style of the team, which was different from the defensive counterattack tactics that have been using for the past four years. I am confident in Chivo's work and believe he can succeed at Inter. We need to see how it will develop in the future, because it is one thing to get second and compete with Naples for the Serie A championship, and not being able to enter the top four is another. I have confidence in this choice, although Inter originally wanted Fabregas."
Inter still wanted to buy Lukeman this summer, but ultimately failed to sign him. Casano pointed out: "Inter still insists on trying to introduce Lukeman, which means they want to change the style of the game and may use a 343 or 433 formation. But that's another thing."
