According to Italian Calcioefinanza, the Milan city hall held a meeting this Thursday and believed that the San Siro Stadium did not meet the standards for hosting the 2032 European Cup.

San Siro Stadium is the home stadium of Milan's two heroes. The meeting was attended by representatives from Inter Milan and AC Milan, representatives from the Italian Football Association, representatives from UEFA and the mayor of Milan.

According to the current timetable, the Italian Football Association must submit a formal stadium list to UEFA by October 2026, and the construction of the relevant stadium must be started by March 2027 at the latest.

Before, the two Milan heroes were also evaluating whether they each built new stadiums. If San Siro hopes to be on the 2032 European Cup venue list, the relevant renovation or reconstruction projects must clarify the plan and timetable as soon as possible to avoid being excluded.
