On the sidelines of some youth training games, there are always some parents of players causing chaos and quarreling. A few days ago, Kroos, who serves as a youth training coach at the "Tony Kroos Academy" in Madrid, talked about this topic on the podcast "Einfach mal Luppen", and the wording was quite direct.

Cross said: "We have very clear rules for parents. We don't want to hear shouting, criticizing the referee, or conflict with the other parent. This situation often turns into a kind of 'parallel battlefield' where the parents seem to be at war."

However, some behaviors are allowed. Cross said: "Of course, they can encourage, cheer and praise their children, and that's absolutely fine. I don't think these behaviors should be banned completely. We don't accept any football instructions from off the field, such as 'Shoot!' or 'Pass over there!' It's the same in the world."

In Cross's view, there is a clear trend among parents who are emotionally out of control: "To be honest, mothers are almost never like this. I think in youth football, fathers often have two things that affect their emotions the most - their children and football. When the two come together, that is, when their children play, I can understand part of it, but I must point out that they must also protect their children."
