According to "Team" report, veteran Buna Sarr will come to Metz for training this week. If his physical condition permits, he may sign with Metz.

The 33-year-old Sarr is a Senegalese defender who made his debut in Metz and has played a total of 110 times for Metz. After that, he played for Marseille and Bayern. He played only 33 times in Bayern for 4 years and suffered many injuries. Sarr's contract with Bayern expired in the summer of 2024, and he has been unemployed ever since.

Saar will participate in Metz's training on Tuesday. Sarr needs to first prove that his physical condition meets the team's requirements, and then he is expected to sign and return to Metz. Although Sarr has not signed with a team in the past 16 months, he has insisted on physical training under the guidance of the national team's physical coach.

Metz is currently ranked 17th in the Ligue 1 standings, and the club is in urgent need of signings and reinforcements. In addition, during the African Cup of Nations from December this year to January next year, many Metz players will return to their respective national teams to compete, and Sarr's joining can fill the vacancies in the team's lineup.
