Leverkusen striker Hick was interviewed a few days ago, in which he talked about the preparations under the new coach Ten Hach, his first impression of him, and his partner with Bonifas.

- After working with Xavi Alonso for three years, you are now welcomed by Tenghach as a new coach. What do you think of him? How is the cooperation situation?

Hick: "What I can say is that we have done a lot of training and it's very high intensity. I think the intensity of the training session is even stronger than being under Xavi. But it's pre-season preparation period, and the first impression is very good."

"We lost very important players, and they have definitely played a decisive role in our success over the past two seasons. It will be very difficult to replace them. I'm not sure if we can really replace their strength."

"But of course, the club has to do their best. It's not an easy situation for the club. But now is also the time for other players who may not be so important in the past two years."

- Although you rarely play at the same time, you and Bonifas form the front duo that is probably the most threatening in the league. How are you doing in your cooperation? So what about private relationships?

Shik: "He is a great guy, we are friends. Of course, the situation last season was quite special. We both thought we should play together, and we could play together. But the head coach had the final decision and he decided who to play."

"In the end we won the game, so it didn't make much sense to change the formation because a player won the game. The team won and it worked very well. Maybe we could have trained this combination in the last few rounds of the Bundesliga, so the championship was determined by that time."

"Bonifas and I are different types of players, and he brought different abilities from me. I think we can work well on the court, but in the end it is up to the head coach to decide how to play."
