According to Footmercato, Atlanta may sign a contract with Mota for three years, and the two sides will hold important meetings today and tomorrow.

According to Footmercato exclusive disclosure last week, Atlanta listed Thiago Mota as one of the new coaches who left Gasperini several months ago. After Gasperini officially stepped down, Atlanta management accelerated its restart of contact with Mota's team. Mota had once again negotiated with Atlanta executives last week, after the two sides had initial contact in April.

It was also revealed that the two sides will hold important meetings today and tomorrow to finalize the prototype of a potential cooperation plan. If the parties eventually reach an agreement, Mota may sign a three-year contract with Atlanta.

It is worth mentioning that it was Gasperini who previously suggested that Atlanta management bet on Mota as his successor. Paladino is still an alternative, and Atlanta management has not considered other candidates yet.
